The Inland Empire Community Foundation commissioned the UCR Center for Community Solutions to study well-being, belonging, and civic life across Riverside and San Bernardino counties using the Vital Conditions for Health and Well-Being framework. Drawing on a survey of 2,381 residents, the report focuses on Belonging & Civic Muscle and their connection to overall life satisfaction, supplemented by publicly available data on the other six vital conditions. Data sources include the American Community Survey, California Department of Education, and Bureau of Labor Statistics.
