Belonging and Civic Muscle is one of seven interrelated “vital conditions” that comprise the Vital Conditions for Community Health and Well-being Framework. Belonging and Civic Muscle is both a Vital Condition and a practical capacity that is necessary for equitable success in every other area of the work.

  • Are allowed to make meaningful contributions
  • Have a hand in shaping the community’s future
